displacement tuts?

I have been trying to save a dispacement map with no luck. Any where to look for a tutorial?

You have to have a material applied and a UV map generated, then you can export a displacement map using UVand Paint>Export bump tool.

Also in the new documentation with H2.1 moxstudios shows how to export displacement maps with a bit more detail on the settings. Note you can change the size of the map in the settings as well.

I have also seen that nvidia offers a plug in for photoshop to make bump map I dl it and installed but doesn't seem to appear in photoshop anyone tryied it yet??

ok found out how it works: makes it very easy to create normal maps from images... very nice and efficient plug: can be used in bump channel or displacement
