| Pixar want to hire me! ![]() | Hair
Hello everybody. Today I tried to do some hair. I wanted to create a hairstyle and therefor wanted to dublicate several different strands I created before and place them on several special shading domains. I thought I could realize this with the surface dublicator... For the front-strands it turned out ok. But the side-strands and the strands in the back looked weird ![]() It does not matter whether I align the object to normal or not... there must be a trick! (I also tried to do it with the anything that grows plugin, but somehow it didn't take my reference objects as references for the hair?) |

I've found a few, but for other programs. This one for lightwave looks good enough, and could be trasposed to another modeling program. Lightwave hair tutorial http://www.newtek.com/products/light...air/index.html
