I'm happy! Could you please include a tutorial on toon modeling? I would love to be able to create characters using Hexagon.

thanks

Hey,

How about one or a few on vehicle modeling? This would include using backdrops as guides. Cars, planes, spaceships - that would be great.

Great New coming from a Master!

I think a must of any package like Hexagon(specially after the great and succesfull correction of the known bugs) will be:
a.- Basic applications of the most frequent tools used in Head Modelling
b.-Basic applications of the most frequent tools used in mechanical modelling
c.-Multiple examples of different object and how each tool could be applied
d.-Multiple approach for the same one object, lets say head or car...etc...
e.-The use of the other aspect of hexagon,nurbs,uvmap...
f.-Probably will be a very good feedback if you can post short videos of what you are thinking is good to us to grow your input to finally make( with your master knowlodged) the final tutorial.

Hexagon, Carrara and ZBrush workflow

It would be nice to see some tutorials on using Hexagon and Carrara with other applications, such as ZBrush.

I am not seeing a lot of animation tutorials for Carrara. Even a simple one so that tools can be learned, how to apply them and when.

Corndog: Eovia started to correct the lack of tuorials, as you can see on this forum (my tutorials are Eovia's tutorials), but let us (and me), the time to do them (And you can't imagine how much different tasks I do at Eovia

And your request is a little bit offtopic ;) Stuart request tutorials ideas for his Hexagon DVD training.. not Carrara

Ya definitely the wrong spot for that post I do apologize ...And when I said I do not see a lot of tutorials I only meant on animation...

I hope you did not take that as a Knock at anyone..I am very happy with the number of tutorials available for modeling. And ya I know you are with Eovia I saw your mug on the other thread with the blue face and orange shirt I believe

You have a tutorial about animating a targeted camera, with the introduction of the curve editor.
You have a tutorial about animating a bouncing ball, also with the curve editor

(No knocking, I agree with you, Eovia products miss tutorials ;)

Dry

It would be great if you could include product modelling such as a mobile phone, i-pod or radio...or even a coke bottle.

There's too much character, creatures, monsters... out there

I'm a novice in modelling, and I'd really want a thorough tutorials with product modelling.

Thanks!

JH

Good idea! Better learning by creating something fun.

Citroen Dyane

I'm a newbie, and just to learn, I've started modeling a Citroen Dyane. I have quite good reference diagrams, but It's a bitch. It has some features you won't find in modern cars, and I think that It would be a good Tut.
