Toon Snail Challenge - Polyloop

I thought I would contribute to the next mini challenge here. Concept was done by a good friend of mine Steve Odgen (art director for Firaxis) for a project I did a few years ago.

Would love to see textures on this guy, but take it as far as you want.

I took advantage of some downtime yesterday and decided to attempt the schnail challenge. I guess the next step is to rig his eye appendages and add some floating eye brows.

Looks great sabot. The environment goes well with him.

I wanted to show this... this is the accualy character I used from that concept 2 years ago. This was done in Max.

It's interesting to see the different approaches taken to building the geometry for the snail shell.

Here is mine. I think I like Sadot's better.
