Sadot, is the soft/highlight look you have a result of a Combustion filter? It reminds of a render look you can get with Cinema4D.

Thanks Sadot ! I knew this technic but I didn't think to use it.
I'll give it a try ;) I wonder if it's faster to render.
I'm waiting for the french version of the book and I'll buy it :D

Your render is awsome ! I can't wait for the next.

Yes, i do that in combustion, i don´t have C4D. I use C4D only one time with a friend.

Your correct sadot, I used C4D with the Hexagotchi for a similar look.

A thing for the blend file is to turn off shadows by all except one light, that way you don't get the overlapping shadows on the floor.

Here is a simple two light .blend file that uses the AO and internal render instead of Yafray. I would use Yafray personally but here is one without it.

I tried the ramp light setting. It's as long to render as the AO.
I also turned off shadows to remove overlapping. I didn't like the result as much as the one posted now.
What do you think guys ?

ps : Maybe I'm "monopolizing" the subject, in order to not flood here I may open a wip no?

LOL, gangsta snail! I love it.
I gotta learn more about sound, using audacity or something and setting all this stuff up, morphs etc... I know how they work, but it takes time to do all that stuff. I'm already starting something new by the time i'm only half way done with something else...

I suffer from "half-wayitis". :\

HaHaHaHa... thats great Mox! Love it!
I think what would realy kick off the animation... make the other side a sub-woffer and not a spinner... kicking to the beat... just a thought.

Hi everybody, salut tout le monde!

This is my first model in 3D… thanks for this funny challenge!!
