MUPPET Challenge - Polyloop

Hi! people.

I was thinking for a new and simple challenge so lets try the muppets.
Only you need to modeling one of the many character of the show add you own style don't have to be the full body like elmo.

You can play with the Carrara 6 hair if you want, It would be great if we can make a simple animation adding some bones and make something crazy, you know this is only to learn and have fun

This is the elmo that I did, am going to try make an animation with Carrara 6.1

OK here is a character from Fraggle Rock. I think her name is Red if I recall.

A little over an hour of tweeking the hair, the model is simple and only took about ten minutes.

Muppet hair is more like feathers than hair but when I tried to get a thicker strand it did'nt look as good so I went thinner. It's really effective the way Henson did it though the way their hair kind of floats in the wind and bounces with the characters movement.

Great challenge Mox! I spent about 45 minutes in Hex and about two hours fussing with carrara hair. ANIMAL - rock on Electric Mayhem!!!

Beaker!
about an hour (20 min Hex/45 min Carrara)
I don't have the hair exactly the way i want it but I got tired of messing with it.

Getting somewhere finally..
Now to do some tweak and environment etc... the machine has constraints setup for wheels and propeller and Dr bunsen is rigged and ready to animate.
