mayito: what is the time limit??? the whole month?

without knowing the rules, I set a personal goal for one hour.
this is what I had done in that amount of time. So it's pretty sloppy
I did spend an other 20 minutes or so with lighting and rendering, so that I could post something, but I didn't count that.

I wish I had time to finish but things are just too crazy for me over the next few weeks.
If I can squeeze in some more time I will

Sorry I forgot the rules. You have until April 28 to finish it and then explain how much time it took for the modelling and how much for the rendering and what was used for the rendering.

I went to that site, looks pretty cool.
It can be hard to find blueprints suitable for a decent model and the star trek section isn't too bad at all.

Can we do another ship from there? That one's ugly.

Yes of course, my goal is that all those who love spaceships can go to that site and get some nice blueprints and post the work here, maybe even tutorials, UV maps how to do? etc. Choose any other ship and show off your work.

I'm afraid to say (at least: to think ^^) that since Mayto is this Challenge's Inventor, those ones do not count.
Good shots

Those are pretty good shots, looks like he relied on textures a lot though. I may take some time on it and try to model more of the details out. Thanks for the resources though, I'll do some googles tomorrow on it too.

Jawra,
do not underestimate what you have done here. this looks good... your topology, is very nice for a "newbe"
also very good modeling for Carrara.
My biggest suggestion at this point would be to see a dentist

Indeed, stricky speaking, one can submit a 2D work (based on forum name and first message).

Oh, I suppose it could count toward 3D, then... :-D
