Another 'Howdy' and 'Hello'

Hello, fellow reader,

Before i dive into this neat forum, i'd like to introduce myself a bit:

I'm a 31 year old IT-Consultant from Germany usually dealing with boring stuff. As i truly know, that computers can do way more than some people think, 3D has been a little hobby since i once got hand on a little software named 'Povray'.

I guess i always have been a really bad modeller - but i had fun doing my things, and that's what it is all about in the end, i think. Still tho, i'm a little bit dreaming of a decent computergame that needs a lot of modelling.

As this is about to get a little bit more serious than before, i really need to get a look at good work, and do some real stuff now. Hopefully, some of you might give me a hand, pointing me to things i'm missing out, or telling me about things i never heard of...

I already seen some works in these forums, and i'm really impressed. Looks like i found a friendly spot, where good quality can inspire others.

W00t Hey

Blah . Usually what ever we do for money becomes boring after a while. I'm pro cook in the restaurant (chef as they call it), and I can tell you something, it can be boring as hell. I been into photography for a last 20 years and radio amateur for like 25. As soon as you start doing it for money (a.k.a. PRO) it looses it's charm. I decided to keep them both as a hobies, and I like it like that.

Yep, nice community here, lots of diversity and helpfull people. Hope U enjoy it and learn something along...

Welcome

Well, i won't do that game for money, but more or less because i have to make it become something real and stop being just an idea. I guess that 'little hobby' thus just grows a little bigger - i have less time to play drums then - something my neighbours will love...
