i think that the "members visited today" section its good but i think its to long, i think "last 20/30 visitors" will be better.

I dont know if its to late or to hard, but i found in this forum something like that, the avatars of the 10 latest members on line are displayed

but polyloop its great!!!

I like it the way it is, nice clean and simple... You go browse the rocity galleries (for instance) and if you click or enlarge an image you need to navigate back to the gallery again, 2-3 clicks/pages. I don't even bother looking there much anymore but here it is easy to view by user or next image etc... And viewing threads is easy too. Once in awhile though even after you log in and type a long message, your page expires (even if you have log in indefinately checked). I think this is a forum software bug. I always copy the message to the clipboard before I click post anyway just in case I lose it.

Oh, one last thing or idea, not even a suggestion but something I did on my own site for ease of use. I enabled .car, .hxn and .cbr extensions so the server would take them natively and also associate the right icon with those files so if someone wants to upload a hex file, the icon shows up as that one etc... It's easy to do and better than having to zip stuff up...
When you zip things, you never know what's inside and anti-virus stuff has to go through a fairly lengthy scan of the compressed files, plus with this forum anyway, alot of different files could be shared maybe.
Just a thought....
Steven

Thanks for the feedback Couerl!
For the gallery, it's a premade script, I can't change anything on it...
For the expiration of your session, it's weird.. the timeout is set to 16000 minutes Perhaps a cookie problem?

For the attachement, I know this "problem" It's just because I start to have some hosting problems (the attachement folder is pretty big.. and I don't want to prune anything). If I find a way to externalise the attachement folder, then, the problem will be solved. By the way, I can add the car/hxn files, but I'll have to limit the maximum filesize.

I use IE-7 candidate release and that can be the problem with php sites... I can't use FF/Mozilla or anything because all my own servers are Microsoft 2003 series, enterprise, standard etc... And I use office online, which is designed for IE. I think the phishing filter in IE-7 may have something to do with it.

Anyway, leave it alone, it's good the way it is. Hehe
