Amapi was not part of the acquisition. This remains the property of Eovia Europe S.A. Information on the future of Amapi will be answered by that team, or you may send an email directly to that team at info@eovia.fr.

Thx for taking the time to post this helpfull thread, 1) Can we be confident that Hexagon and Carrera will continue to be developed in the same manner as we have seen in the last couple of years? 2) Will the Carrera and Hex teams have design and functionality freedom? 3) Can we expect continued open communication in the future with the Hex and Carrera teams as developement continues? Thx Dan

Hi Bob, From what I read on the other thread, we will receive an email on Wednesday concerning Hex 2. You said "shorty be delivering" Hex 2. Will it be released before the end of April as originally stated? I'm not interested in jumping off the Hexagon bandwagon, so I am curious if DAZ has delayed the release. Thanks! |

2) Charles remains in direct control of Carrara development. He will also likely lead the Hexagon development in regard to making sure we are pulling in the same direction. DAZ acquired us for our ability to make and market great 3D apps, and that will not change. 3) ABSOLUTELY!!!!

Bob, thanks for stopping in. Your last post answered the only question that I was concerned with. As for the future of the products and Eovia, I'll happily let that play out on its own. Thanks again for the information.

Bob, Will you please tell us a bit about what you are working on adding to Carrara's next version? Will the requested features be implemented? I know it is too early at this point, but you could tell that THAT is what most Carrara users are worried about. So why not take this opportunity to give a straightforward answer here? I myself realized that the future of any application is VERY IMPORTANT to many people. |
