Hi Bob, I've tried repeatedly to contact info@eovia.fr about the future of AMAPI and each time my emails have being returned as "undeliverable". I'm an AMAPI Pro user that uses this product for my business. Do you have a better email that might get me some answers? thanks, jeff |

| Hexagon 2.0 release.
To date the following things were promised on the Eovia3D site previously and recently with regard to the release of Hex 2.0. 1) A demo version available prior to the removal of the $199 1.2-2.0 purchase and free upgrade path. Will a demo still be available before the $199 pricing structure goes away? 2) The new DAZ post indicated some sort of "better deal" being available before release, as you've just stated that the 30th release will still happen, when in the next 5 days will we find out what this is? The bottom line is, I'm not a customer, however, I was thinking of becoming one. I'm glad I didn't buy this software already, and I will "not" buy the software without trying it via a DEMO first, nor will I buy it for $269 dollars, as was the proposed list price after the $199 upgrade/preorder incentive path. Additionally, any type of deal involving free content from DAZ, has little incentive for me. I buy programs to model and create my own content. I'm not one to bash DAZ or Poser, or any of that. I think this whole premade content for hobbyists is a great new potential market, I'm just not a potential content purchaser, I'm a potential creator. ![]() Thanks in advance for your response. ABC |

Wish you all good luck being "Under New Management" Hope good stuff will come out from this and production version of Hexagon comes out for all waiting for it. Hexagon 2 is and will be a great product and hope New management will do justice to it. Personally have no experience with Daz so can't say anything about it but have a very good experience with Eovia and I hope again it will stay that way. Good luck to all of us. Lets start thinking of filling up this forum with Hex2 Models when we get that on our computers ![]() note: I agree with most of you the situation could have been handeld better |

One thing I can never understand in the business world is why, when the business announcment has been made, do we have to wait 24 hours to hear about the extra info regarding Hexagon. I am pretty sure you are not still discussing what you will say. That choice has already been made. Why keep customers in the dark for what I can see as no reason and further frustrate some. Mike R

Is there a representative of Eovia Europe who is authorized to comment publicly at this time as to the future of Amapi? I know it is probably to soon but it would be faster than every Amapi user e-mailing the address. I agree with Bob the dev team is working hard on Hex2 when not trying to fend off a village mob. |

Bob, " Please contact Eovia Europe for information on purchasing Amapi. INFO@EOVIA.FR" This email address also doesn't work. Can we try another? -jeff |

Well, I for one, think this bodes well for daz and carrara/hexagon. We can surely expect assistance in clothing customization/creation. Carrara is strong. Tools to make it a product creator(with hex2) for poser/daz only make it stronger. Are there any changes forth coming to make daz files importable with animation? the native and transporter importers are "almost there" but will we see a (near) seamless hook to dazstudio anytime soon? There are some great addons(pantomime) that could really make high quality character animation a reality with the combo. Oh yeah, will you please make the millennium characters into a primitive (insert->v3), with morphs available in the righthand control section> |

I wonder if the Hex2 team was pressured/rushed too much because of the Daz pressure? Is Hex2 really ready for a release? It seems to me that the French development team will be dumped after release 2.1. If so, I am sure they are really "motivated" to continue to do a good job ? | |

IS there confusion regarding what the Daz folks are saying regarding preorders etc now? Here is what I read over on the Daz forums. "There seems to be some confusion, not surprisingly, at DAZ. Dan said do not preorder that all will be better. Steve posted that the Preorder deal is the best and will not be improved upon." Cheers Mike R
