Could we start a texture repository/ library at the forum

Dear Eovia it would be great if users could share and upload images to a texture repository at the forum.

A purely textures version of the gallery.
I certainly have many to share.

What say you?

Corndog - many thanks for that link.
What I had in mind was a jpeg image library that was searchable and included thumbnails.

Wouldn't it be lovely? :-)

Manleystanely - I may hold you to that.

A decent collection of repeatable pantile textures would be good - the one I've got is so so.

Drop me a message if you have such splenderous things.

I have several natural textures at Terranuts. I think I have 5 packs of 6 textures. I could post them here. Everytime I start a new project I make all new texture for it, so I have 100 +- textures in my library.

Please, if you post textures, you must be sure that you can distribute them. It means that you must have made these textures -yourself-. Don't post textures which come from other websites or collections.

Could you please tell me more about this "toy"?
Is it much better then e.g. TextureMaker + Unfold 3d Magic?
Sorry I am beginner here...

Yes, I think so. Deffenetly a better interface, all node based.
Try wood work shop. It's free; and you can make more then wood. Or you can check out the demo for Genetica 2.5 http://www.spiralgraphics.biz/
