Licensing Policy - Polyloop

MODO lets you license the software to YOU. Most others license the software to a computer.

In this day and age, MODO's policy is more real as we all know we move from place to place and from one machine to another.

I wish the rest of the software industry would get hip to the idea and give us less strain about what we bought to begin with.

Going back to your message itself:
Eovia as a 'standard' license, but we (Eovia) know that most of the users have different computers (laptop, at work, at home) and if it's not official, it's allowed to do that, like Modo do. That's why the installation and registering procedure is only a serial.

Thanks for the license explaination. I have been on since Ray Dream Studio. I've seen the worst of it, like with Pro/Engineer or MAYA.

I have seen all the different things and I appreciate your help to understand how we work. Today it's not just a single machine like it was 10 years ago, but a system of where we need to be today.

Don't know why these messages were in news? I just started on this forum today. If I made a mistake, sorry. I did not mean to.

I will try to be more vigilant in the future.
