Apparently, the server seems to have caught a cold.

Hi Thomas.

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@polyloop.net and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Above is error mesage.

I also could hardly connect with Polyloop.
It is not easy to connect again now though it seemed to have recovered about 5 hours ago.
Actually, I am transfixed to Polyloop now to post this reply (with the beer in my hand).

I worry about whether this neatly reaches you.

This internal error was my fault in fact
it seems that someone is trying to hck the server and makes the connections unavailable. I ban the Ip directly from the server, but I can't be behind it 24h a day...

Hi Thomas.

It is 12/March P.M.8:30 at Japan time now (your (Paris) time: 12/March about lunch time?).
Polyloop is OK now, but its condition seemed to be not good again several hours ago.
To connect with Polyloop, considerable time (about 3 minutes) was needed.

I deeply resent against hackers/spammers who are egocentric and giving damage to people for their own pleasure.

Yes, it was around this time... The problem is that hackers / spammers are using dynamic IP which are not their IP, but IP from zombies PC and it's hard to fight against that.

The next time, I'll shut down all the websites I'm hosting to see if which one is under "attack"..

(What is your job in Japan ?)

shoeach: well, sometimes, some people use software and don't know how they are really working, then, I can understand this kind of mistake (one of them was in japan )

Thomas, I was unable to connect last night. I guess it was around 11pm eastern US time. It would just sit there and not connect at all. I tried off and on for 30 min or so but never could connect. May still be the same issue with the downloads.

last night, you mean 24h ago?
Now, everything should be ok, the downlaods are on the FTP and shoudn't affect Apache at all.
