Warning I'm now an e frontier member - FAQ - Hexagon DVD training status

Hi all!

As some of you have already read on the yahoo groups, because someone announced it, I'm now an e frontier member.
When I was at Eovia, I was in the Hexagon and Amapi Dev' team (which is the same team) and e frontier acquire Amapi and also, all the Dev'team.

Let's go for a kind of FAQ

Q: What will be the impact of this on the forum?
A: In fact, not a lot of things will change here. I started to change the forum before the aquisition happened. It's still my personal forum and continues to be like that. Only a Shade section will be added in the major software section. Carrara and Hexagon section won't disappear, as the related tutorials.

Q: Then, will the forum become a Poser place?
A: good question... but no. As written in the forum About section, this forum is about 3D creation, and not really 3D content images.

Q: Will you (Thomas) be able to answer to everything?
A: No. Like the old Eovia time, sometimes, I won't answer to some thread, because it's related to e frontier. To avoid some problems, sometimes it's better to let other talks

Q: Will you continue to answer to the questions related to Hexagon and Carrara?
A: Yes, of course! My forum is about 3D. All 3D (including XSI, Modo, Silo, etc...)

Q
: And Polyloop (the company)?
A: Another good question ;) Well, I had to stop building it. As I already said, France, is not an easy country for business..

Q: And the Hexagon training DVDs?
A: For various reasons, I won't be able to release them (It's -not- on e frontier request). It's a bad news, both DVDs are almost done...

Q: Then, why not releasing what has already be done?
A: Hehe. No, sorry. But I'll post some samples of what have been done.

Q: And the Nierd video, which is the same as the commented DVD one, will it be removed from this website?
A: No, it was never planed to do that.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask them and i'll try to answer to what I can

I'm glad you are back to being employed Thomas. Sorry you can't publish your videos. Do you know how long it will be before the new direction of Amapi is publicized.

Good news that you have a job again it's no fun being unemployed. Shame about Polyloop though.

Thomas, life is full of mysteries, and this is often good ;).

Congratulations on your new venue, and thanks again for making this a good place for everyone - which it seems will grow.

Best for futures,

Congratulation Thomas!!!!

But now I'm confused. I went to E-Frontier's web site and find that one of their products is Poser 6. I thought Daz owned Poser and made it/upgraded it into Daz Studio? Boy, am I out of the loop.
