Thanks for your support all! I only hope you will like the changes and modifications

For your information, the new forum will be in orange, black and white
It will shine in the night but I'll also do an "eovia3d.net" skin for those of you who don't like these new colors

But I don't see any one making comments about new additions or change they wants. Please, do your comments now, it is more easier to prepare them now than when the new forum will be launch!

For the sections that you are keeping will all the existing posts still be there or will it all be gone?

I hope we can keep the existing stuff (WIP, tutorials, etc.) It would be a shame to lose all that great knowledge.

Otherwise I'm looking forward to a fresh start in this community.

Thanks for giving the eovia3d skin option. I like it a lot, very easy on the eyes.

Ash: no no, all the content here will remain the same. Even for the bugs sections and sugestions, I won't delete them, only do some cleaning and moving them to a merged forum

PolyLoop Opinion

Thomas and Carl,

This sounds like a well thought out idea. I know that a lot has happed with the DAZ aqusition and you both seem to have adapted well.

Carl, I downloded your FREE 3DXtract eZine and what a tresure trove of information. Thank you.

I look forward to you going live and me becoming a valuable member of the forum.

Thanks.

Maybe a section for beginners would be a good addition,
for people who fear to show off their work in the normal
threads.
I'd love to be able to help a bit with a silo and a lighting part,

regards,

Thor

Thomas, you can count me as a new friend.

I came from "DAZ land," after newly acquiring Hexagon. I came here because I've heard this is the best place to learn.

I'm happy that I could finally afford Hexagon, but sad that you and others have lost your jobs.

I am so excited that you've chosen to keep your forum alive, and excited about all the proposed positive changes.

Thank you for allowing me to participate.

Hi Thomas, I like it the way it is except only one thing in the forums, a lot of times it's easier to hit "back" in the browser once you post a message to get back to the main forum you were in (Heaxagon forum for instance). Maybe a quick navigation bar with buttons or Icons to bring you straight to the forum you want to look at is faster on all pages?

I'd like to just the titles for the latest news, rather then the whole or a large chunk of the news article. Mainly because then I could see more new quickly. I think more daily news would be great, and I do hope that the community helps out with that.

Monthly challenges would be nice.

You have a navbar just below the big orange announcment image on the top of each page, only click the link of the forum or subforum you want to go. It's not what you want to look at?

Another shortcut, to go on the front page of the forum, is to click on the top illustration bar where you have the random image on the left and the Eovia3D.net logo (on the top of the menu)
