Good point! As a side note, I've been playing aorund with Amapi Pro (wow!) and as a Rhino3D v2 owner this is certainly a refreshing take on NURBs modeling compared to Rhino! I went to the purchase page to see how much it would cost but all I saw was 700+ euro or something - didn't see a USD price OUCH! I couldn't determine what price I'd have to pay if I (just so happened to) want to purchase it. I also didn't see if I'd get a deal for owning Hex1 / 2upg and Carrara 5 Pro?? 700+ is way steep for me - $300, $400 maybe, but for me to upgrade my Rhino from v2 to v3(v4 when released) is around $295 - I'd go that route for sure compared to 7 billz?? -Will

Hmm...Seems that you are right guys! I just didn´t remember that the upgrade was 99 dollars even I preordered HEX1 from C3... HEX1 is a great app and it is among those "my 5 favorite softwares". I don´t know a bad day maybe.... Sorry! Any way have a nice weekend! All the best: Mikko |

Welp, at least I'm more familiar with Amapi now... And I see Eovia does have the code in place for all the snapping and constraints would could ever desire in Hex 2 - it's up to them to decide how much they're willing to add into Hex in further support of hardbody work... -Will

I find Hex 1 to be great for hard surface modeling. The UM is constrained to each axis and makes it easy. Check out the sextant that Kool just posted in the gallery. Heres a Vette I did. http://www.eovia3d.net/gallery/showi...&orderby=views |
