Also wish you will never see Le Mans C9 tutor, otherwise your heart will be broken.
HUH? Not sure what you mean about the snapping. I haven't noticed any real problems with it, other than it being clumsy. Are you trying to snap 2 meshes within the same item? Or you placing your target mesh in a background item?... about the C9 tut, i don't buy the training materials. But i've heard people commenting about the odd coincidence that all training series use models with flat areas which hide the smoothing problem around high-valence vertices (poles). What other thing you feel will make me cry? Only if you tell me that Rhino was sold to Autodesk

No, you did not! Never heard of his list before, so I just wanted to check it.
Are there more lists here on Polyloop?

No, only this one.
But we have a crazy rabbit. This is far more entertaining.

There is a trick from luxology forum. Instead of trying to keep points close to each other, you just snap them to the same background. That background coul not be flat, because the points could snap to such surface in any place. So you have to use some rounded or bumpy.

Of course, both patches (fillets, ribbons, ...) are in the same mesh, because I want to build one mesh using pen tool (do you know it could be done now in ZBrush with retopology tool?)

This tutor demonstrates the intelligence of the instructor and weakness of the tool. First thing the instructor draws lines, then align the points (pair by pair!), then uses patch curves tool to build patches for each(!) quadrangle area one after another. Hell of work. So I don't think your gentle CAD heart could stand such a test.
