Polystream: Zbrush live presentation, thursday 25th - 12:00 pm (lunch-noon) PST time

Hi,

Some of you may have noticed that two Polystream have been done recently on the french side of the forum (modo 301 and Zbrush 3.1).. but.. what is a Polystream? It's just a live demonstration of a software made by someone. You can watch (and listen!) it in real time through a flash application and talk with the other watchers in the Polyloop Chat.
  • Software: Zbrush 3.1
  • Subject: discover the features of Zbrush 3.1 and learn how they are working. Please, take in consideration that -it's not- a live creation.
  • Level skills: beginners / intermediate. If you are an advanced user, you may not learn something at all!
  • When: Thursday 25th, 12:00 am (noon) PST time, 9:00pm/21:00 french time (GMT+2). Please, be connected a little bit before!
  • Where: please, log in the Polyloop chat for more instruction. You -must- be a registered user of Polyloop to log in the chat.
  • Special guest: We may have Ryan Kingslien, the product manager of Zbrush. (I have the pressure on my shoulders!) - confirmed, he will be with us!
  • Demonstrator: me !
  • Language: English (well, perhaps not the best english ever heard ! I'm french, don't forget it! )
  • Software needed: a web browser with a recent version of flash, a high speed connection, no dialup connection.
Edit: At the end of the demonstration, a session of question and answers with Ryan Kingslien will be organized

I hope you will enjoy this Polystream! If you have some questions, feel free to ask!

Sounds great.

Very cool event. I've been hoping to see these types of events available somewhere and more often as bandwidth continues to expand and technology progresses.

You said "noon" PST, so I think you mean (3 PM EST for me ), but I believe that would be 12 PM not AM? 12AM would be midnight I think.

Just want to make sure.
Thanks for sharing.

If you don’t eat lunch yet until 12:00, it is AM. And if you already ate lunch, 12:00 is PM.

I wish this event succeeds.

P.S. Wikipedia explains that from 00:00:00 to 11:59:59 is AM and from 12:00:00 to 23:59:59 is PM.

LOL

I usually have to eat lunch around 10:43 AM...so I guess I was wrong. ;)
Thanks.
I'm looking forward to this one, hopefully I can get home in time to login on an appropriate bandwidth connection.
I'll drive REALLY fast.

I will do it on my MacbookPro (15") under Vista if everything is ok, then the resolution may be lower.

I don't think I will have a hundred of watchers. Not a lot of comments on CGtalk.
