Do you want to merge the french and english WIPs?

Hi,

In the forum new organizations, I had some requests and feedback about this, but I want to do a poll. Then, do you want to merge French and English WIP sections together and do also the same for both Workshop?

I would say, ok for the wips, nope for the sand box.
I can't vote.

I vote YES for the WIP section. As the song says, "...a picture paints a thousand words." It doesn't matter which language the words are painted on.

I like the idea for both.
I really like to see what everyone is doing.
Is there a better (more accurate) translator available?
The one in use now just doesn't make a lot of sense when going French to English... of course I can't judge how it works the other way.

I think the language problem would be reduced by writing as comprehensible English or French as possible each other.

"a picture paints a thousand words" as Sketchy quoted.

Assuming that I knew any French ... well, I suppose I could at least tell which application (by name) was used. Of course seeing the art is the most important, but learning the how is what would be really nice - sort of the theme that Thomas has outlined (and well done) for Polyloop.

You’ve got a point.
I also considered it.

However, I think I must be patient if I can’t interpret “How” enough.
Because, I don’t interpret “how they are creating the works” well in French WIP part even now either.

I think that the meaning of this proposal is that members come to be able to participate in the WIP thread in one place if both WIP threads are integrated together.

I think it would be a good thing.
so, I says yes!
however, nothing prohibited an french or english-speaking to take part in a French or English discussion in a wip , here and then, some do it , a few, and always the same guys ....
as I always said, for example here,
http://forums.polyloop.net/misc-disc...2-barrier.html
I am afraid, even if I am for, this idea, that the language would be a large barrier...
and this new " intenational wip" wanna be in english language

my point of view...

No opposition here.
Just questioning if there is a more efficient (computer software) translator for any language?... considering today's international community on the internet it would be a great thing to have.

Once this proposal is adopted, I am going to buy French-Japanese dictionary to improve my 3DCG skill.

Would it be practical for PolyLoop to impliment one of these that you recommend.?... the one that is currently in use does not do French-English very well. (I thought it was Babelfish)
