Thomas,

All the best to you guys. Just a thought. I am sure you heard and used Modo. Luxology seems a good team and a great product. But they are missing some part in their software that your team had in Hexagon and Amapi. It might be a good opportunity to send over you guys resume to them. You will make a very good trainer/demo and feature person and pascal and other coders an enhance their already amazing Modeler/Render.

Just a thought. Good Luck

I'm sorry to here this news also

I bought the upgrade to Amapi 7.52 pro, because of the work that was being done for Version 8 and the UI hopefully would have gone the route of Hex and been more tablet friendly, Its good software and the timing is so bad I remember that Amapi 8 was aiming for 2nd quater 2007 release

Oh well, all my best to the Dev team that brought some wounderfull stuff in to Carrara 5 - I love those surface tools - Hex is nice if somewhat wobbley
And Amapi is fully featured but in need of refinement

I'm very sorry Eovia went and this seams like bad news too

If amapi 8 does get published this year I doubt i'll buy in now
I'll just use what I have Amapi 7.52 is good enough for a novice like me

anyway peace and good luck

Sorry Thomas to hear such sad news. Best of luck in the future. Efrontier has not made any friends by this move especially so close to a new version release. Probably my amapi 7.5 purchase last monies going to support these guys.

:-P Man, I didn't expect this. No fun. Business is business but still... Hope that they're treating your right financially regarding this see-you-later-goodbye action.

I am sorry to hear the news about your job, Thomas. It's two weeks down the road and I hope the outlook for you and the rest of the amapi dev team is better than it was, at least on a personal level.

I am glad to hear that polyloop is going to continue. Although, I do not have a lot of time to keep up with discussions, I enjoy visiting when I can.

Forza e coraggio !!

Dear Thomas,

I am just a newbie here but thanks to you, your website and all the people of the community here I learnt quite a lot.
For this and all the effort and love that you always put in your work I thank you.
I am saddened to hear about the job news but, as a lot of people already told you, I am sure that a man of talent like yourself will land well on the next job opportunity.

The best of luck to you and all the team.

Mata ne.

Looks like Amapi.net is down now... havnt been able to access it for a couple of days now. Not sure whats going on and e-frontier still has not made a public anouncement of its plans for the Amapi product.
