Thomas,

I am very sad to hear your news after all the work you have put in to developing our software.
I am sure that people as talented as you and the team will not find it difficult to find work with a more reliable company.
I wish you and the team all the best for the future

Brian

No way! I’d never thought of it.
I'm very sorry to hear the news.

I believe that you have excellent talent to come true ideal modeling program that user requests.
Good luck and best wishes to you and French team.

I’m not confident of keeping loving Amapi in the future which Thomas (and his development team) is not there.
e-frontier has lost one customer at least now.

Thank you very much for your great and hard work up to now, Thomas.

Really sorry to hear this Thomas,
sorry for you and the team, sorry for the application and angry about the industry which doesnt simply let any small application to grow up (i mean as a serious app. not children playground) . Look at Carrara they just have changed the direction it was going, while we were waiting it to stand up against c4d in maybe a few versions later, it is now trying to rival Poser, peh... Not even want to talk about Hexagon and now Amapi gone too..

A question to you the team, isnt it possible to just find funding to develop for yourselves, not getting into a company but building one. People will come after you and try to push you up i believe... I would do..

Looks like the end of e-Fronteir for me too

I no longer have any reason to spend with e-fronteir.

Good luck to the excellent French team that created and developed Amapi (and Hexagon). I am sure opportunity will find you all.

Good luck Thomas and team,
Stan

Thomas, I am truly saddened as well as shocked to hear this. Please know that you and the French team have my heartfelt wishes on your next endeavors.

But one good thing is that we members still have you here at Polyloop, so that is one thing for us to be thankful for.

Please take care.

Thomas , thank you for your work ...anyway let you keep your enthusiasme always ! As for efrontier ... it would be a good idea for efrontier to give amapi to the community .. or maybe to sell it to community... because amapi is alive
anyways

I am also sorry to hear this. Wouldn't it be great if you showed up with the Modo or Silo team?

I'm not sure it can be interpreted as official. Just a comment from the other side.

"they are kicked out, but we hope we'll work with them", "they are kicked out, but Amapi will continue somehow".

Dear Thomas,
Sorry to hear about the bad news. You are a true innovator in the business and I'm sad that things didn't work out for you and the team at e-frontier.

You guys software rocks. I was trying to force myself to do organic modeling in XSI, but guess what? I went back to Hex 2, much more intuitive.

I hope things go well for you and your families. Please keep us posted.

mayito7777: please, can you edit your message regarding e frontier? I'm not in bad relationship with them. You don't know whay they did that, thats why you can imagine.. And when you imagine, you always imagine th worst (that's human

I asked an e frontier representative to post an oficial message somwhere to explain. It will be better for everybody.

And thank you very much about your comment. I'm not sure of my future, but I'm not so worried. In the worst case, I will setup my own company (no developpment sorry !), bt you know, setting up a company in france is not so easy (and very expensive!)

Done, I was angry because all the hard work that you and the others have put into it and the enthusiasm you talk about the new coming Amapi 8
