This is the work that beta testers did with the new lightwave.
Maybe Carrara can have the same too.

I was looking at two Lightwave video tutorials and I noticed in one that the EDGES selection mode is missing in the UI. Any explanation for this?

The edges are introduced in lightwave 9.0. Before 9, no edges.
