I really hope Corel will follow this progress. Corel has always been in the rearview mirror to Adobe, and tends to pick up some of the traits in one or two releases at a hell of a lot less of a price. I'll have to keep my eye on the Corel website and see what happens.

I think Corel's graphics suite is the best value on the market dollar for dollar and nothing is quite like Painter. Also Corel includes loads of valuable extras like entire font libraries. Corel makes it almost worth it to buy their graphics suite just for the extras alone. Corel rocks and I am glad they are around. | |

Me too. Sad they sold to the US. Seems all good Canadian companies are selling to the states. Even the most ancient company, our heritage, the Hudson Bay company. I guess it's just a matter of time before Canada becomes the 51st state.

I have a question - do you think this new 3d feature will allow you to create better images or allow greater creativity as a 3d artist? More importantly will cs3 allow for better texture creation and post production techniques?

Thanks bwtr - so this is an additional plugin rather than a native feature that will come with cs3? As you say the forum suggests that it is buggy. Nothing about the demo marked it out as a must have application for me but then again it's often the artists that sell a product better than the company themselves.

Poser has made a big deal about offering a FREE plugin for PhotoshopCS3Extended which is only for Poser7! I was almost tempted to pay for the update to 7 until I looked at the end results of these "special" CS3 plugin file results to see that they are only .obj files!!!!????? Ain't life interesting! |

Great news ! The only logical suite to the Adobe Web Bundle (premium cs2 + macromedia studio 8) cs2 is the Adobe Master Collection ! 2032 € (2700 $ !!! an upgrade from cs2 web bundle I bought 3000 € six months ago !!!) Yeeekk !! end of the discution for now (i'm afraid) Adobe france = BURGLARS ok. maybe I can count on after effect ..but I really don't care now Il y a quelque chose de pourri dans le royaume du commerce. Something"s rotten in the world of buisness. Last edited by Piem; 25th April 2007 at 00:44. |
