Absolutely mind expanding! I hope the interface has a little less complexity, and is more consistent with other 3D apps, but if not...well, the results are seemingly more than worth the pain. I have this in my mid-May vacation zone, please Pixologic don't push it back again, bugs or not.

I have been trying out mudbox and its pretty neat, and am considering buying, so will be interesting to see how Z3 compares. I remember shelling out quite a few dollars for Z2 in expectation of this upgrade. Edit : 1 billion polygons, holy cow, hope I dont have to buy machine with 256 processers |

The interface looks very similar, but it does have genuine 3D sculpting, although the projection master button still seems to be there. I read that one of the beta testers was running it pretty well on a pretty low end machine. It has some really interesting ideas in the video, I hope they are not just 5 trick pony features. The transpose looks usefull for someone posing a scene, like temporary bones. And the concept sculpting looks quick and there are a couple of different texturing options from images which look very handy. As long as the 3d sculpting is sensational then I guess everyone will be happy. I hope the workflow is simpler otherwise its out with the training DVDs again

What is LA time? GMT-6? GMT-7? At least, they put on the frontpage the prettiest of ZBrush 3 beta figures. Not one of this ugly mugs widely used for ZBrush power demonstration.
