The second meeting of the NYC Modo user group is in the works. It should be within the next 2 weeks. Location/time depends on how many people show up. So anybody in the NYC who is interested please respond to this thread on the modo forum...

By the way, I was worry about a fire that happened in southern CA because the scene of fire seems to close to Luxology.

Did the fire finally die?

Hi Syuichi. I think the fire is under control now, but still burning. It usually takes some weeks to fully control these fires. Even thought the fire was close to the area of San Diego, the house of modo must be OK. because there was Friday update as usual...

It looks like it should be next Sunday. Send an e-mail directly to Sha Ali. You can find his personal mail in the members profile. He's organizing the meeting, and he sends updates to everybody on the list... I hope to see you there. We need more people. San Diego is kicking New York's ass right now

Thanks JB. I will send him email. I saw his work, very impressive. We should pick his head for texturing and lighting in Modo.

and he just starting learning 3D one year ago. that's half as long as i'm learning 3D, but he's still 3x better...
