[Modo]Select Through

Hi,

Have you noticed this function?
I learnt this convenient function recently.
By activating this function, you can keep a transformer tool on and only to select elements, you can concentrate.

Only I didn’t know this function?

On my side, I learnt this feature not a long time ago. I demonstrated it on the Polystream two days ago. It's nteresting with the manipulators, but in some tools (Edg extend), it creates some problems (you can't use MMB to continue the extend with the See through option...)

Hi Thomas,

Though I knew Polystream at French part thread, to my regret, I didn’t understand details of it well.
What is Polystream?
Is it the one like a chat room concerning modo?

The "Polystream" is a flash system where you can see what I'm doing on my own computer. We did a couple of days ago the first Polystream with the french part of the forum, to do a real test in Live.
I launch modo on my computer, and all the conected on a dedicated webpage were able to see in live what I was doing, with my audio coments. At the same time, everybody was conncted on the Polyloop Chat to let me see the comments.

Now that it seems to work perfectly, I will do a new Polystream soon, in english this time (but the time zone won't be easy for you...)

yes, i thinks so! actually it's one of the first things discussed in the manual from version 201. The toolpipe is really important thing to understand in Modo if you want to get the full use of the toolset... One more thing related to tools which you should really learn is the macro recording and toolpipe "save preset". If you do a lot of repeating actions, this could save you lots of time...

I’m with you.
I think modo is attentive and profound program.

I’m perfectly crazy about modo now.

Thomas >Thanks for information concerning Polystream.
