[Amapi]Where to get Amapi 6.1

Hi @ all!

I'm new to these Forums.

In an old computer magazine I found an article about Amapi, which aroused my curiosity. Searching at google for a free download wasn't very successful. evoia.com (daz3d.com) doesn't support Amapi anymore and evoia.fr only offers a trial download of the latest version (7.5).

Does anyone know if there's still a possibility for downloading a free version of Amapi 6.1?

Thanks in advance.

but I can't open thread

but this is what I get whenever I try open that thread:

"Tuze, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."

Tuze: reading the forums rules can help... Now, it should work.

Hi! I just heard about Amapi and am wondering how it integrates/relates to poser and bryce. I'm new to all these programs and am excited by the possibilities they enable.

thanks for the amapi 6.1 link

hmm, seem to be having the same issue, I guess maybe it's just a matter of time before the moderator reviews/approves it?
I already have amapi 6.15 but can't find my installation file, wanted to get access again- looks like I may have to rebuild my system

are there any ways to enhance this version- plugins or different renderers available?
thanks, Dave

Thomas,
According to this thread, I read the forum rules... and still got no access to the Amapi 6.15 download. :-(
I used for a long time the 4.15 version, but now I no longer can print (Mac OS 9.0.4), this issue led me to download the new (6.15) version.
I would be very grateful if you could unlock the download process. :-)
Many thanks in advance.

Only members who have posted can access to the downloads. Now, you have posted, it's ok.
I'm sorry, I did a forum upgrade recently and the message have gone about this, I have to edit it again.

first post

HI to all,
Very first post after years of reading.
My posting is slightly interested (actually more than slightly), I'm interested in Amapi as a modeler instead of hexagon. Which one ? Just for hobby.
Thanks

If you can buy Hexagon, I think you will be able to learn a lot faster with Hexagon

Thanx Tomas.
I once saw Amapis video demonstrations of modeling tap, bottle, chair on the official site that was 1 year ago.
Do you maybe have the links to videos?

The admin is not stopping anybody. You just have to be a validated member before being able to download any files on this website.
