Currently, $249.99 from Amapi 6 to Amapi 7.5. Perhaps I'll have a specific discount for Polyloop members in this couple of weeks to have Amapi Pro for less than that... but not sure yet...

Is it still available?

I have Hex at home and with some of the information here, I wonder how they compare.

Smile New Member

I am a new member looking for a free copy of Amapi 6.1. I would like to create a Ship for a Bryce project I am working on. Is there anything I need to do in addition to posting here in order to download a free copy?

Thanks.

Crystal

Flower I was told I could find free Amapi here so this is my hunt today too.

I imagine this will be a good program to have on hand and think it nice to get one at such low cost.

At this moment I am working with Bryce and Carrara, but I am looking for something else.
I want to try Amapi, and I read this is the way to get Amapi 6.

Looking for Amapi

I started looking into 3D apps a short time ago and noticed that MacAddict 60 had a free version of Amapi but I my subscription ended at 59... I was given several MA CDs up to 95 but they started at 63.
To make a long story longer... I found your forum thru BlenderArtists and came here to check it out.
I'm looking to take some of my characters and pop 'em into 3D.

I have Hexagon but haven't really used it much and I'm thinking about trying Amapi. Is it compatible with DAZ Studio?

You have to use the default imports files formats like OBJ.

Newbie Amapi modelling question

Hi, I am new to Amapi and wonder if it is possible to import PovRay constructive soild geometry scene description code into Amapi, either automatically, or by manually tranlating and entering. In other words, does Amapi have a scripting language such that code can be written in a text editor and then transfered to Amapi to create or modify 3D models? Thanks!
