Hi,

If i have a mesh, which has different shader domains, is their a way in which i can assign different UV mapping styles to the different domains?

Thanks

Steve

Hi ,Yes
1 - make your NEW domain name
2- select it
3 - choose a projection
etc..for each domain.

now ;there is restrictions to this.

2-Unwrapping doesn't work for particular domains..the whole mesh is unwrapped. It's a bug (or feature request) already reported ..since a long time.
I hope it will be soon possible

3-Seams can also appear between domains, which is a very very nasty thing

EDIT restriction 1 ( 1-If the whole mesh is already uvmapped...loose uvs ) is fixed

note : with the unwrapping function and the shading domain, you can do that :

go to the unwrap function

select the polys of one shading domain 'by clicking on the domain, at the bottom left)

transform your poly selection to edges with "B". And add these edges as seams.
