I'm a mod over at subdivisionmodleing.com, there's others here also. Right now I don't have too many models done with Hexagon but I'm going to be using it more on some work. Here's some models I did during beta.

Yes contests or challenges never seem to take off here. Dont know why, maybe people too busy. Aunty Betty is trying with the carrera challenge thread but not many takers. Maybe need some prizes O_O

I'll try to do my best to improve them. Perhaps I choose too hard subjects (BTW, for the Jump one, I provided all the files

Looks great Sadot! Congratulations.

I definitely need to begin with some modeling practices, if not I will start to use Hexagon by the 3.0 version.

Cheers.

challenges I have seen on other forums seem to be either like the one sadot is doing (great job Sadot ) to model to a picture, or an abstract challenge like "the journey begins" . I dont think Im up to the second one and it takes too long, but I would like to try a two week modelling challenge if the topic is interesting

Thomas: I try to do the jump challenge, But I get trouble triying to pose the character, I think the model got a few key frames In the legs of I dont now why.

I think we need more than 3 hours challenge with more dificult subjects
to make more elaborate scene, dont give up thomas sorry about my english I hope you understand

I think I'll have to start with more simple challenges like the ones on SubD. only modeling and eventually, rendering, but no animation ;)

Mox: I'm working on the next update of this forum actively, and do an announce soon (with another great one ;). Then, I'll also announce what this forum includes, like these challenges. I'll also need some "modérators" & "animators" for this kinds of challenges, to create subjects, etc (do you want to be part of them and posts all the requests I have.
But you're true, I need to communicate more around these challengs
