| How does download of Hex 2 work?
I'm thinking of buying Hex 2, but I only have a dial up connection at home. I would like to purchase it through my home computer, then later on, go down to the local college and download the software onto a USB drive. Since I don't want to get all the way through purchasing the product only to find that I'm not allowed by DAZ to do this, I'd like to know how the download procedure works. Specifically, does it require that the download occurs on the computer it will be installed on, or can it be put on a USB drive for later installation? Do the purchase and download have to occur at the same time? Also how big is the file? Thanks, Nick |

Size is about 330MBytes. I can see no reason why you would be restricted to install on the same machine that you downloaded it - that wouldn't make sense. Normally you get an email with the registration code and then just enter that on whatever machine you install Hex on, however I did the pre-order through Eovia and not Daz so I can't say for sure. |

I have downloaded models and applications from DAZ at multiple locations from my account many times. Unless they changed something specifically for Hex2 (and I seriously doubt that) you can download from where ever you login to your account. Cheers, Steve |

Nick, I bought Hex2 at home and downloaded at work because of a slow home connection and there was no problem. You must set up a Daz account when you make the Platinum club/Hex2 purchase and if you login to this account from college you should see Hex2 as an available download. Note that they only seem to give you about 4 or 5 days for the download before the option disappears from your account so don't buy until you are ready to download. Linda |

You can always reset downloads at any time, for free at Daz. So there are no worries there. To reset downloads, go to your Account History. Once you click on reset, which is a request, and is automatic, it takes about 30 minutes for the reset to be activated. I have to reset xfrog sampler 1, just to download 1 file that got corrupted.

No problems Linda. I try to help. It takes a bit to get used to the Daz Way of doing things, which is one reason Daz has a large and loyal customer base.
