Toon chiken

This model was done alog time ago in wings 3d I decide to add some uv mapping and paint in hexagon 2.

I have a tip maybe some people know it, You can make a shading domain to store ech part of the model to be more easy to paint if you are using one texture.

im curious how do you get everything so seamless?

This just looks very clean. When I unwrap just a basic head I get all sorts of streaks and missmatched edges. I am just puzzled...

Nice chicken though

Mox Studios. Excellent to see your work. Any chance you can tell us your workflow that allows you to paint on multiple domains. If I use multiple domains then painting stops working. Also how do you assign the uv mapping to each domain.

I am asking here as nobody seems to really know how to do these things except for you beta tester folks.

Cheers

Hi all thanks for you comments,
MagicRubbe: to fix some of the edges y move the vertices in the UV view.
mykyl1966: Im gona do a screen capture in video of the steps soy thomas can upload in the forum.

Im planing to add some bumps, but I have to wait for the Hexagon Update or do a displace map instead because i encounter some bugs

Quick question, so the paint feature, that isn't laying down a brand new texture right? You have to have an image/texture already behind it and you are just revealing that texture that already exists...

Or is it truely painting new colors right onto the UV map?

Thanks!

That would be excellent. I have been looking for information/tutorials on that very area of Hexagon!

Thank you very much and great job on the chicken!
