I drag a primative to one of the viewing screens.
Nothing shows.
I don't see a "Render" option.

Which screens ar you speaking of? Piem is correct in suggesting being more specific. I've gone through the one of the bug threads and had a question readily answered. Also, read the manual thoroughly

(if you havent already done so) Early on I had what I thought was a problem with the "materials" tab and few other issues untill I re read the manual. One thing I learned is that Hexagon, being intuitive, will only show some controls/options when you are doing specific things.
