1/n menu area?

Hi,

Please forgive my "noob-ishness", but I'm working thru the tutorials included
with the software and can't seem to access the 1/n option area (or see it)
from the "carafe" tutorial. Has this area been moved elsewhere for version 2.0?

Thanks for any help...I'd like to figure out how to use this powerful function.

*edit* Here's a screenshot of my default interface:

thanks in advance for any insight! :D

Thanks for your rapid response, laughingnome.

I found it under the Selection menu as well...guess I was looking for the
additional icon panel to be present as in the tutorial (or a way to turn the
panel to visible).

Thanks again!

stu,

Don't worry about it, I have pretty thick skin and understand a lot of people were upset over the sale and everthing, so I was trying to take that into consideration.

BTW, if you or anyone can help with a quick UV Map and Texture painting tutorial we can post over in the DAZ forums it really would help a lot. Sometimes I get it to work but most the times I don't, not sure what I am doing wrong. The documentation doesn't seem to have much detail in this area.

I can always do it with a flat plane, but when I try it with other more complicated shapes (even just a ball or cube) most of the time it doesn't work. I don't know much about UV mapping and that is the big problem for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to answer as many questions as I can over there so you guys don't get bombarded with newbie questions here and I'm not having a lot of time to play with Hex2 myself. Just enough to go in and check my answers before I post.

Cheers,

Steve

NP, I was meaning me posting a link there anyway. I have a Hexagon Tutorial Links sticky in the Hex forum there. Sorry, I should have been more specific.

Cheers,

Steve
