Menu Files > User Resources > Reset Interface

And you will get it back. Anyway this seems to be a bug.

Days waiting for 2.0 and today all of us want 2.1!

You cannot open this windows or you can open and there is nothing?
Have you try to create a new material? (see fig. 1)
Can you post a screenshot for understanding?

After reinstalling it was gone but prinicply it was like this:

the bar on the left was 3 pixels wide and nothing in it,
checked that it was on in the windows menu.
when you clicked the arrow for closing and opening in moved just
this 3 pixels to the left of the screen and back, nothing was there
to be selected,

Regards,

Thor

yes at the time I tried F7 and F8,
the screen resolution I work on is 1280x1024x32Bit
should be sufficient I think...
It works now fine after the reinstall, but I think it disappeared after a crash,
in between I had around 40 of them so far....
Can't wait for the patch,
I hope they improve the 3D performance a bit, a model I started in silo just around 50k dragged slowly around the screen somehow...

You don't have to reinstall to clear this bug (workaround).

Instead, use the 'full reset of preferences' button in the Preferences Editor, under the Menu. Close and restart Hex, and then re-enter any of your customisations.

You may get a long delay after the first confirm alert, while Hex 2 appears to be blocked. Just wait if this happens, and confirm the second alert when it shows. Then close & restart Hex.

Kind regards,
Narration
