Hex 2 for $1.99? Say what you will, but DAZ3D is/are a marketing genius(s).

To do this before modo 2 and silo 2 hit the scene is a MAJOR coup for DAZ. Not only does it bring in a ton of potential new content providers and buyers, it reduces the decision of getting into modeling/3d paint to a non-issue.

E-frontier better watch out, Poser has an incredibly huge user base, but things like this can change an industry overnight.

Admittedly, Modo and Silo offer their own unique feature sets/pros/cons, but Hexagon 2 may just become the beginner modeler software for a new generation, as Bryce was for so many of us as a renderer in the old days.

The word is out in the Modo forum. I am sure a lot of Modo users will pick up a copy of Hex2. I trust they will be very pleased with their $30 investment.

(That is, if they can downoad it.)

Modo 201 will cost what? ... $650 ?
Perhaps Daz should buy Modo too before it goes to Autodesk.

It was only $295 for the upgrade from modo 1.0 as I recall for preorders.

Indeed, Modo brings Hex 2 level program envy for me as well, but theres no way I can touch it for $650 right now. But at $33, Hex 2 will be touched many people and often.(like some girls I knew in High School!)
