Strange multi-window behaviour

I've already posted this on the bugs database and at Yahoo with no response, but am curious for some feedback as to whether this is just happening to me.

With the screen split into 4 windows Perspective/top/front/right for instance, if I load in a content object it loads ok into the perspective view but in the others it is showing from the same viewpoint, yet the window titles still show top/front/right the axis indicators all show the same.

If I try this with Hex 1.21 it works as expected.

I have a Radeon 9600 video card and have installed the latest Ati drivers and this still happens.

see pic below for example

thanks

Bob

Why ? because of the tiny "poser" scalling or else ? ..as morph ?

EDIT: Not sure if this is a bug ... but if u tear off the materials window ... u cant pull the left side panel out far enough to re-dock it. Yes, this is the issue I mentioned. You can fix this by hitting F7 and then closing/reopening Hex 2. But, this causes some other issues, such as the menu items being open, but not nessesarily being ticked as active.
Actually this just gets rid of the floating windows then you can't accesss those windows again. Go to: File/User Resources/Reset Interface.

This works for me...

Click on the dock, it should pop out a little bit if it is in the docked position. Drag the floating window over the bit of the dock that is sticking out. There is a little blue blob appears when the window can be docked. Release the mouse button, open the docker (might have to close it first) and the window should be re-docked.

There is a design error here, the dock is a too small when there are no windows in it. It does work but is quite fiddly.

yes you can redock as Tony said and its really fiddly.
my advice, dont empty the docks.

F7 if all else fails and relaunch.
