Playing with Hex 2...

So, who was a Hex 2 beta tester? I've been using it no less than 15 minutes and I've found at least 20 showstopping bugs. Right now I have menu windows that can't be put back in their original location, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Hey great- now they're completely gone! They'e not in either of the side menus, and when I try and reopen them again... nothing! Try this- remove all of the windows from their positions. Then, close the side bars. You won't be able to get the left ones back into those side areas. The right ones can be put back (I did it once by choosing a tool) but not the left. Right now I have no material windows and I can't drag half of my windows out from the side bars, unless I close and reopen them. Then, it lets me move them.

Note that this problem still exists after a full computer reset.

Small update- you were partly correct. If I hit F7 everything goes to hell (windows vanish and I can't select much) but then if I exit and load Hex 2 again, the window positions are reset!

Try to open the Preferences Editor (Alt+P) and select "Reset all preferences to default"

Already tried it.

I have Geforce FX 5600. I run a lot of software, and have zero issues with any of it, except for XSI, which is known to have issues.

Honestly, I've hit so many bugs with Hex 2 it's completely unusable. I'd like to hope it's my graphics drivers or something, but everything else I have runs without a hitch.

An example of a Hex 2 bug- I open a new window view, and then I open a second. When I close the first, it leaves behind a dark square where it was, which can't be gotten rid of (except for exiting Hex 2).

isdnmodem- I haven't seen one of those yet ;)
