Is it all about the $$$

I thought Hexagon and Carrara were on steroids. I think both programs were devoloping at an exponential rate. I had mentioned that a slight increase in price would be OK. I do not expect anything good for free. Bryce has not had the upgrades like Carrara over the years so Bryce is still cheap. Carrara did increase in price a slight bit over time. Did Eovia under charge for Carrara? Was Eovia loosing money all this time?

I can only thank Eovia for pushing Hexagon and Carrara to new levels at a price the average joe could afford.

You are right it is ALL about the money. There is a great deal of pressure and competition in the space Carrara and Hexagon occupy. I'm guessing Eovia didn't have the financial power to continue to finance their development (this is fairly obvious now). I hope DAZ can keep the flame going at the same reasonable prices that Eovia had. DAZ has resources that Eovia didn't.
