...I never really knew who named it and why it was named as such. Hexagon is a polygon of six angles and six sides. What it stands for remains a mystery. Would it have made a difference if it was named Octagon, or Pentagon, or Leopard, Jaguar, Tiger, or Kat (as in McPhee).. hehe.

Now I model with ease,
With Hex it's a breeze!

(Hope you don't mind me supplying two lines.)

Ok so far ...

==================================
There once was an App. called Hex ...
Over which we all are stewing
Others were such a vex,
I didn't know what I was doing.

Now I model with ease,
With Hex it's (such) a breeze.
Put a fork in me, I'm done,
Wow ... Hex is so much fun.

So I took my dog for a walk,

================================

Two line is ok ... just glad its developing

Warning

Well, technically that's not a limerick. A limerick has an AABBA rhyme scheme. I'll let you slide on the meter, but the rhyme scheme, I dunno. :-) (Any guesses what my major was in college? <g> )

Anyway, those lines kept spinning in my mind and formed into the following:

My models were always such wrecks
'Til I learned of a program called Hex.
Now I model with ease --
With Hex it's a breeze!
Points and edges no longer perplex.

And, in keeping with the real danger of limericks, this is now stuck in my head! :-)

Andi

tyrell, Its really simple when you look at a cube from that given perspective its silhouete is a hexagon.

A cube is a 3d object but its still responcible for that outline shape, therefore the logo.

Cheers.

Hehe ... I know ... I was hoping that ppl would do AABBA but what was given fit more to a (poem kinda style?) AABB so I just went with what was given .

There once was a man from nantucket,
Who repeatedly spat in a bucket.
He said with a grin,
As he filled it agian,
"If you drink this, you'll surely Upchuck It!"

Wasn't AABBA that Swedish disco band in the eighties?

We're waiting for Hex in awe.
The new features let us drop our jaw.
Our mind is a mess,
but let's not distress.
We'll just let them solve the last flaw!

So, Eovia kill thse last bugs and release Hex 2.

There once was a company called Eovia,
Indeed, its true, we loved ya.
But now you are gone,
The final ring of the gong,
What will we do without ya.

With sadness, we say goodbye,
To a friend that was rising high.
Looking ahead to be a future,
To my heart, Hope is the suture.
But hexagon, I will still buy.

Well thats my little poem,
Word and rhymes, I barely know em.
It was fun while it remained,
Will it ever be the same?
Only time will tell the tale.

Bye Eovia ... I cast ur ashes to the sea ... may u be well in the hereafter.

Here's mine...

With Hex I did model a bucket,
Now all I can say is...er, ahh..um...yeah...
Ship it !!!!
