| [Hexagon]Painted objects UV export
Hi There, I'm considering buying Hexagon 2, but I have one question regarding the UV tools. If I paint my object with the geometry brush, will I then be able to export a single(or multiple) uv map as a .bmp(or whatever image format) to be used with other game engines supporting the proper format? Example: I make a model of a tree, I paint the model brown&green with the brush, I export the texture exactly as I see it in perspective mode, I export the model, and then I load the tree and apply the texture to it in a game engine. If this is not possible, I'm requesting that this be a feature in order to make a more efficient workflow for game developers wanting to export textured models into games. Thanks, Mike |

Hi MikeS, before you begin painting in Hex2 you have to use the UV-unfold tool. this looks like I can do this, so therefore I think you can do this. ;) Just look at http://hexablog.eovia.com/video/hex2_napoleothon.mov Have fun. |
