It is designed for one hand, has 15 keys, scroll wheel, a gamepad type mouse control and two buttons. EVERYTHING on it is fully customizable including assigning key combinations and macros on the keys (macros on the other controls too, but I haven't tried that yet).

The gamepad has 8 programmable positions if you don't want mouse control.

It is technically designed for the gaming industry, but I find it works really well in 3D apps too where a lot of key combos are used.

Cheers,

Steve
Thanks for the tip - I picked up one and although I have a Contour Shuttle Pro on my desktop for video editing, this device helps me normalize a good amount of function keys within my differing graphics applications.

So now even though most of my apps use ALT to perform viewport movement and XSI uses the "S" key, I can just hold 1 key on the N52 and it automatically maps the right keystroke to the app I'm currently using.

The catcher is programming all the keys!
