how do i do this?

hello, i select several faces on my object in the "left" view window then i zoom in on my selection by rotating the mouse wheel. i then decide i want to zoom in on the faces i selected in the top view window. in my old modeling app id just put the mouse cursor in the top view window and that window would automatically become activated and i them would just rotate the mouse wheel and zoom in. but in hex the top view window doesn't become activated, i have to click in it the widow to activate it and that causes my selection to become unselected and i have to select it all over again. what do i need to do to zoom in different windows without having to click in that widow or without loosing my selection? thanks, tom.

I used to model in 3-4 viewports. (Now I model everything in one drawing window.) Hexagon is designed to eliminate that need with the aid of the Universal Manipulator. The Lord Almighty's greatest gift to 3d artists. ;-)
