Yep, I understand, I am completely new to 3D and have problems as well, trying to learn the program. The thing which helped me the most is the tutorial video that came with the program (version 6, free with Computer Arts). Seeing someone demonstrating everything is better to understand than reading about it. In the link mentioned above you should find 1 or two tutorials with some parts 'animating' as well. What also will help is watch the videos of Amapi Designer 7 on the Eovia website. Just repeat the videos and you will learn something more about the way modeling is done. On 3dcommune.com you can order a CD with tutorials from Brycetech - only $10. Then there is this forum - you will need this for your everyday questions. On yahoogroups there is a mailing list which you can join - search the archives for more tips. Hope that this will help you! Jacqueline |
