| Smoothing and Dynamic Geometry
I have a question about using smoothing with dynamic geometry. I have created a polygonal object. I add smoothing. I adjust the tension on some of the edges. Now I want to edit the polygonal object. I see that I can move the points around, but what I really want to do is to add and remove sections. As far as I can tell, I can only do this if I remove the smoothing - and throw away all of my tensioning. To me this seems to negate the whole purpose of dynamic geometry. If I can't go back and edit the underlying object, what is DG for? Or am I (hopefully) missing something? Thanks, - Joe |

Thanks, Shonner. This works nicely. But how can I perform a sweep (extrusion) on the original object, to add major new bumps to it? When I try to performa a sweep it sometimes works, and sometimes I end up in a situation where I'm not allowed to do the sweep, because the smoothing has created "markers". Again, thanks in advance if you can help clarify this for me.
