Advanced Tools: Project NURBS Curves

What does this feature do in Amapi Pro 7 and how does it work? None of the PDF's mention this.

It project a NURBS curve on a NURBS surface.
Create a surface (or try with a nurbs primitive) and a circle in front of it.
Now, with the circle selected, use the projection tool and clic on the sphere and your circle is now on the sphere

in attachment another sample of this tool.

At last, it's not because you don't understand something that is automaticly a bug...

Perhaps it's not usefull for you. But it can be for others.
I don't need a such tool, but it's only my mind.

curve projection

Hey Shooner,

Once curve is projected you could sweep or add thickness to maybe create a contoured hose on a space suite, for example.

just a thought.

Yep, Allen. I've found all kinds of uses for it. I've been sticking side-view mirrors on car fenders, hoses on jetpacks, etc.
