Advance Tools: Dissociate BREP faces

How is it used and what does it do exactly? I found it while hunting around the program menus I rarely use. When I choose it, a blue square appears at the top of my screen (without an icon).

It separate your volume or surfaces in many volumes... make a cube, use this tool and now, you will have 6 square surfaces in order to have your cube.

The blue box with the missing icon is a bug. I don't know what it's trying to tell/show me.

I didn't take alook at the blue box, but in some case, for the advenced tool, the icone for the option don't show an icon for this tool (it doesn't have any option, that's why their is no icons)

Shooner : are you happy somethimes with Amapi Pro ? Do you really need the NURBS features if you are always making nice props for Poser ?

"So now I'm bugging you guys about this program so I can get more of my money's worth."

we didnt make the program Shonner so bugging us is a pointless exercise.

my advise would be go get truespace or C4d and go bug them.

just to be prefectly clear on this.

you were offered a position HERE as a moderator by me.
you turned it down becuase it would take up too much of your time.

you are now taking up my time with your continual complaints.
ive no doubt the "blue box" was was the wrong colour blue for you :D

some advise : switch programs if you are that unhappy with Amapi

this site is operated by by people who are willing to devote some time to answer and help other amapi users.

if you have a complaint against amapi take it to Eovia.

Eovia U.S. sends me back here for support. They don't provide tech support for Amapi. They just sell the program in the U.S. Totyo works with Eovia's Amapi department in France where the program is produced. He is the filter between the customers and the Amapi programmers. He moved this topic from the Bugs section.

Anyway. I now have more time to work with Amapi and have run into some of its more rough edges which the programmers are now working on.

I like that dress you've been working on, by the way. The wrinkles in it look top notch.

i have the same program you have, and i share the same problems you do.

you dont like amapi i think everybody has got that by now.
"brick between the eyes"

i dont care what your problems are with Eovia, take it to them.

Shooner :
Why Eovia US send you here for support ?
Because you email Eovia US for support, who email Eovia europe (us and.. at last me) and, in the same time, you have sent a message on this forum for the same questions and, I didn't take a look, but I think on rendorosity or 3Dcommune (and perhaps both) because Brycetech ask for the same questions as you on the beta list. And I had already answered you here before...
That's why the european support tell the US support that the answer was here... If you wan't, the tech support can send you a copy past of this answer ? I am one of the tech support... If I answered here first, it's because like that, ALL the users can know the answer to your questions (which can help users about this lack of documentation in the Amapi manual, you're right about this)

If I moved this topic here, it's because it's not a bug... Amapi work find with this tool...

And at last, this is my personnal forum and not the official Eovia forum... sorry if you don't agree, but I spend a lot of time, my free time to help everybody...

laughingnome : thanks for the support
