Which Amapi tool does this operation?

http://nevercenter.com/index.php/Videos/516 has a Silo movie showing subdivision with creases. Is there an Amapi movie showing the same operation with one of its tools?

Have you try the "Mold" Tool ?
You can choose radius of influence (size), and coef of inertia.

Yes. But it only attracts BREP points. Not NURBS surfaces, as far as I can tell.

I saw a video at http://www.caligari.com/products/tru...4pointedit.wmv showing what Truespace can do with NURBS and I wanted to see how Amapi D/P 7 did the same thing (stretching a plane to make a nose for a spaceship). And particularly the bit near the end of the video where a cylinder is shown being stretched at the top and the sides of it buldge in and out.

Also, how does Amapi D/P 7 use control points like this http://www.caligari.com/products/tru...s/wmv/nd00.wmv video shows?

The videos you talk about (with TrueSpace) don't show NURBS surfaces. There are all poly smooth surfaces.

You can do like this with amapi, with the DG :

The DG seems to have less control over points and curves than Cinema 4D and Truespace do. I was hoping Amapi D/P 7 could manipulate NURBS cylinders the same way that Truespace 6.6 does. The Caligari video showing how to make a boat using NURBS in Truespace 6.6 looks very efficient and easy to manipulate the corners of NURBS exactly.

My BREPs get pulled apart when I stretch them and my NURBS object falls apart. Is there a way to weld BREPS together? I'm hoping Eovia fixes this if it's not possible now. I'm really interested in doing 100% NURBS modeling with Amapi Pro 7.
