location of object in world coordinate system

Amapi does not give me an objects location on the world coordinate system. This would be the absolute location when I click on move. Truespace shows this data as does carrara. Why is this feature not in Amapi! This is the 1 feature that stops me from purchasing Amapi. The location, size and angle in 3d space of an object should in my opinion always be available and be able to be changed. Is it only me who misses these features or are they already there and my settings are wrong or is it a problem with windows xp home?

Yes ans no :

By defaut you are in "relative" mode. You can sitch to "absolut" in the preference > unit by disable this option.

Always in the preferences, you can choose to show "coordinate" near the cursor.

Now you can see all coordinate of your points in your scene.

Would it not be better to have the coordinates also available in the dialog boxes. This would make it easier to determine the proximity of one object to another and would improve the workflow.

Change location of object by inputing data in movedialogbox

Can this data be changed in the move, size and rotate dialog boxes and do the dialog boxes give you the static absolute location of each object when they are selected, as well as the size and rotation of each object in Amapi 7.5?
